Recent chapters feel overly contrived and he's making it up as he's going along. I'm sure he has the whole bigger picture intact, but he has only so many hours in a week to fill what happens to each of the characters and events in the meantime. And it comes off with things such as Kishi suddenly...

The first two lines sounded overly corny and cringeworthy. Good effort though.
