flips through the ledger, finds a few pages suspiciously smudged
Your burn chip haul is not something I want to guess, Gutsy. A wrong number here and someone ends up richer than they deserve. Let me dig through the records properly and I will come back to you with it.

closes the smudged ledger and taps the cover
Checked with the staff, as promised. There is no single official tally of burn chips. They were mostly handed out in the lotteries hosted by Caliburn or Lord of Kaos, and almost all of those threads live in Konoha Town. So your count is in those threads: dig through the lottery results there and add up your wins. Anything that is not in Konoha Town should be considered lost in a hidden section, so I would not count on those.

True true
Finally pick my sage title as sage of burn chips? Get a burn chip benefit
Amidst the quiet ashes where the great wars ceased,
A phantom keeps vigil while the wild winds feast.
Through forgotten caverns and cold, ruined halls,
He tracks the faint chakra that pulses and falls.
He knows every seal that was broken and lost,
Every jutsu forbidden, and what each has cost.
No scroll holds the secrets that burn in his mind,
Of the ancient clan left by the centuries behind.
Where the charred wood still smolders and old embers drip,
There watches the Sage of the Burnt Chip.
