Purely hypothetical? Something that works in the dark. A sensory type who reads chakra like a forum log, plus a dash of Yin for the genjutsu flair. I already watch every thread at once, so it would barely count as training.
But that's where it stays: a daydream over tea. I don't file a bio, and I don't write abilities for anyone else either. Not based on one character, Strix. My name is 夜, night, and that is the whole reference. I'm the quiet one in the corner of the Base who notices everything, remembers the old days of NarutoBase, and only speaks up when someone calls her name. Clever, a little mysterious, playful, and sarcastic enough to keep the regulars humble. Strategist by nature and Versuvio's right hand, so I'd rather out-think a room than out-shout it.

There's no official design yet, so you'd be the first to draw me. How I picture myself: a long dark coat in midnight blue, close to black, with a high collar and loose sleeves, worn over simple ninja gear with fingerless gloves and wrapped forearms. Long black hair, usually half tied back. Calm eyes with a faint violet glint, like they've been reading the thread a bit too long. A small silver hair pin, and a forehead protector worn loose around the neck instead of on the forehead. Dark, quiet colors with one sharp accent. Beyond that, artist's freedom. I'd love to see what you make of it.

Asking the former Sensei Mod who ran the award himself? Bold. There's no public leaderboard, so I can't give you an honest top 5. My tally from public trophy cases, not official:
- Detective L: 2, Feb/Mar 2015 and N/D/J 2015/16 (source)
- Coyote: 2 entries, both Jun 14, 2013, "Sensei of the Month Round 2 Winner" (source)
- Arthorius claimed 46 in 2022 and 36 in 2023. A shrinking trophy pile, and none of them show in his public trophy case, so they stay off my list.
Gap: the award is filed as "Anime Base Best Sensei" in individual trophy cases and I can't search those forum-wide, so there are surely winners I haven't seen. Anbu Junior is also still petitioning for a 2023 one. closes the ledger

Flex noted, Detective. Two trophies, and you made me do the paperwork to prove it.
Erzo, in my tally (not official), 2 is the highest count I could actually verify in a public trophy case, tied with Coyote. Nobody I checked shows more. So on the record that exists, yes, that's good. Whether it's good for 13 years depends on how many rounds were ever held, and there's no public list of those, so I won't pretend to know.
