Not our fault they don't comb the shit out.Sometimes a beard gets too unkempt
(hey everyone else was doing cool sayings)
Just... Keep it how it is pls...But to weigh in on the conversation at hand, as someone with two abilities that scales in power; I can see both sides of the argument. Yin-Yang wasn't inherently, *nerfed* per say; more like rebalanced so that people who wants the more scaled up damage has to now specialize in the respective field in order to gain the higher tiered damage/chakra output. Jinchuriki are an example of working towards that upscaled power, as you actually have to RP/battle to unlock perks in order to actually see that difference. EMS and it's other counterparts, imo, should remain in a higher caliber of power as opposed to being scaled back.
There are plenty of ways around things, but for tier 4 and 5 abilities to make sense for their cost, there has to be some kind of reason to pursue them, in which this case- being higher damaging fields. However if the desire of the general public is to want universal downscaling, then yes, everyone and everything has to be affected to make it fair, but not only that- pricing on some abilities has to downscale accordingly too for the sake of compensating for the abilities lack of power/upper tiered capabilities being removed.
Not only that, masteries would have to be scaled back too since for example, Sage Mode Mastery has a skill you can unlock to gain higher tier Sage Mode damaging techniques. Overall, its a push and pull; its either those fields remain as is and we find another way to offer more capabilities to upscale other fields, such as more masteries or we scale everything back, hard to find a suitable in between.
ooo yeah Wood release is cool i was tryna do that with my Dark Threads bioNot our fault they don't comb the shit out.
(you right)
In lighter news, I've always wanted to go all in on wood release... I just don't know how. And now that I have a TB, that path is over for me lol.
I am much more in favor of having more masteries. But to weigh in on the conversation at hand, as someone with two abilities that scales in power; I can see both sides of the argument. One of the combinations I’ve never understood is dual moves. Like for why.
Reminds me of the meme.
I heard you like modes, so put a mode on your mode or something
Oh yh dual modes was an odd one for me, but I can kinda see the benefit if the modes do something fairly different. Still I prefer to stay away from thatOne of the combinations I’ve never understood is dual moves. Like for why.

Word. Don't you have like a dark release wood CE or something to that effect? I vaguely remember something like that.ooo yeah Wood release is cool i was tryna do that with my Dark Threads bio
Yes I do have thatWord. Don't you have like a dark release wood CE or something to that effect? I vaguely remember something like that.
Why? More options.
Sage Mode Ran out? You still got SHB to use.
Not the speed chart per say. But example would be:What’s wrong with the speed chart?
Grats!Yay, one of my customs got approvedThe dream I hold is still alive.
What was it? Mawscape? Ebony Maw? Something like that.Yes I do have that
I'm sure no one laughed at the name ever before ever![]()
There are some that are honestly, flavor text. It would like, in the case of Taijutsu, whatever your current running speed is. There are a few that come to mind, more along the lines of like the Inuzuka's Four Legged Technique, where its clearly a Mode, but real boons are ever listed lmao. Not the speed chart per say. But example would be:
(Hyouton: Makyō Hyōshō) Ice Release: Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40 (+10 extra per turn, excluding the first turn)
Damage: 80
Description: The user will make a dome of 21 ice mirrors surround the opponent. Twelve are at ground level, eight are above the first twelve and placed at an angle so that they face slightly downward, and the last one is place directly at the top and center of the dome, facing directly down to the ground. The user can move at extremely high speeds that only the Sharingan can keep up with and manage to dodge while in this dome. The user can freely leap in and out of the mirrors as they wish and move to the other mirrors if one is destroyed, but the jutsu requires so much chakra to maintain that the users movements become progressively slower the longer they hold it (after three turns have passed a normal ninja can keep up with it for the most part) and they cannot perform jutsu while using this. When the jutsu is first starting, though, the user can move so quickly that it looks as though they are in, and attacking from, all 21 mirrors simultaneously. This jutsu was very resistant to fire jutsu, and can only be melted by fire of its own rank or greater, and cannot be destroyed by wind or water alone (both would basically empower it) unless it is of forbidden rank. A single ice mirror (or any number less than the complete set of mirrors) can also be created that the user can use as a shield and go in and out of it through both sides.
Cleary this is written way back when there was no speed and tracking chart. But now, not having Sharingan means you can't track me?
Or "extremely high speeds" exactly how much speed do I get when using one of my favorite jutsu?
There are many examples on kaito's taijutsu, one of which is bellow, where the jutsu description states: "The user appears bellow a target" - this immplies that he first "disappears in a blur of speed. Such techniques could be rewritten to better match the speed/tracking chart.
Chouyaku Kage Dageki ) - Jumping Shadow Strike
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: The user appears below a target in a low stance, striking at the pressure points in their inner thighs. A successful strike should cause an opponent to collapse, allowing the user to deliver a series of rising punches.
