Still wild to me that YY was such a point of contention when there were ways to counter it/build around it.
Seems like people just didn’t want to build around it like in the case of Seniutsu, but wanted to use what they had against it (which they weren’t able to do).

I don't remember as far as how the discussion went. AF was hit as well since the grandmaster level was removed but people didn't mention that from what I recall.
Either way, the only meaningful difference means you just need to spec into it to benefit

Ye it was, I think it was removed in the name of being too powerful and a way to descale things., I think only 1 or two people had GMAF anyways since it required a special mission at the time

With the vessel system, almost everyone can get CES if they want, which comes with damage stacking. So people can now do crazier numbers in tai than Yang alone could ever do. Naturally this is limited by the sources giving the boosts since state and modes can’t be stacked, but it’s possible.
It’s useful because it’s one of the only sources of spiritual healing, and cannot be absorbed by fun so it ignores that meta.

The base damage for GMAF was 120 I believe so it was likely to do with this. I quite like the concept of AF and have toyed with making a bio dedicated to it for a while. But I have too much else to pay out for atm

Ye this will become interesting. I don't know a whole lot about CES in the RP since ive never really looked into it. Still, the Vessel system was faar after the update that targetted Y/Y and other things. The vessel system probably wasn't even in mind at the time

Pretty sure isn't the damage stacking exclusive to sakura or prizes? Like just because you have CES doesn't mean you can add more than 2 boosts.

Well, It was put in place as an option to contend with SM, Y/Y, and Utu and Suen when they were being introduced. I don't know about much else since it was decided by the RP team at the time. AJ might know more than me at this point since he was around then more than I was
