Appearing from the north was someone familliar, what wasn't was their means of arrival. Suspended in mid-air, Faye landed on Moon Isle, accompanied the spiritual blobs she called Genkis. Alucard tapped Lilith's shoulder as to make her aware of the imminent arrival of her adoptive big-sis. Her excitement of meeting Faye knew almost no bounds, the situation of the world was short of apocalyptic and with the Hellsing Org in shambles.. - As Faye landed, she walked straight past Alucard, he cared not - he was more interested in information than physical formalities.

Biiiiiiiiig sis!!!

Lilith cried out in happiness as they embraced. Alucard turned around and studied the two of them with a casual stare. He raised his right hand in response to her acknowledgement that he was even present.

Hmpf, look what the genki brought in.. To what do we owe the pleasure?

His tone was calm and he spoke with a hidden smile on his cheek. Meanwhile, Lilith started to suffocate and turn into a blueberry.
Faye finally let her go when she realized that Lilith was turning slightly blue. She set her down, giving her a small pat on the head. As expected, Alucard skipped the pleasantries and went straight to the reason for her visit, asking her why she went all the way to get to them. Faye’s expression changed. Her tone became more serious.

I recently went back to Mount K,” she said. “It was destroyed. Rot. The whole mountain was infected. The mansion desecrated.

Her eyes went towards the horizon for a brief time before refocusing on him.

Do you know anything about that, perhaps?

There was a brief pause before she went on.

I cleaned it. Fortified it. It’s in a better state than it was before.” Her tone became slightly harder. “But I’d still very much like to find whoever is responsible… Perhaps you could even help me teach them not to disrespect sacred places.

As Lililth was released from her otherwise imminent murder, she inhaled as is if she was about to implode or create a cool custom fuinjutsu technique like those vacuum shiz's. Nevertheless, the reason why she dropped her sis was in order to adress Alucard's previous dialogue. She stated she had recently scouted mount k, her clan's home - and as expected, it too had fallen to the dominions of the rot. Going on, Faye asked if he knew anything about the onslaught of the whole Tobusekai continent in the wake of the Rot. Finally she claimed that she had re-shaped their stronghold but was wishing to go and fight the responsible one(s).

Did we forget how to cure infection, my dear Faye?

He exhaled and following was a defeaning silence.

The rot is the ability of the Basmu, the titanic organism I and Kotetsu fought some time ago - i would presume it's goal is still intact which is to spread it's poison around the continent of Tobusekai. We thought we killed it, but it would seem that - not too unlike Jinchuuriki, these new aparations of beasts might live in symbiosis. I do not know if this is the truth, but it would make sense. As for me, i could care less what happens to the continent as long as Dainashi is safe - which i've been told it is, i guess i wouldn't be much of it's bastion if it wasn't.

He then sighed, as he remained a keen eye on the northern seas. His Tenseigan allowed him to scan the shored of the south-west Tobusekai and some of the isles of his birthplace. Familliar foes had gathered there as well.. Perhaps it was time for a..

Hmpf, maybe a crusade would dull my senses of boredom.. Whatever else should i do with infinite power..

It would seem this is not really as easy a matter as I thought,” Faye said quietly. “If you weren’t able to defeat it, then I probably wouldn’t be able to do much either. Not on my own anyway.

She looked down for a moment, thinking, then sighed softly.

Well… home is safe now and fixed, so I suppose that’s enough.

She paused. Then shook her head slightly.

No. That’s a lie.

She crossed her arms and looked out toward the ocean, the wind moving gently through her hair.

If this Basmu thing is still alive, then it’s only a matter of time before the Rot spreads again. Maybe not to my mountain, maybe not soon… but eventually.

She glanced back at Alucard. “I didn’t rebuild Mount Katsuryoku just to wait for it to be destroyed a second time.

We could give it another try? And you just said you were bored.

A small smile appeared.

So how about this, old man… we go on a crusade. Maybe bring along this Kotetsu guy? Maybe others?

Then she looked back toward the horizon again, eyes narrowing slightly.

Spurn from the idea of launching a crusade seemed to have lightened the otherwise depressingly gloomy mood in Faye's eyes. Meanwhile, Alucard frowned as if he and Kotetsu hadn't just defeated an ungodly being and being picked on it for no reason.

First of all, we did defeat it - it sank lifeless into the bottom of the Hokubu Ocean. Whatever happened to it afterwards was the result of plotshields. Which is probably where my amazing theory comes in place. Regardless, your only home is Dainashi as long as you're under the Hellsing Organisation - you may have a getaway on some spiritual volcano but home is home.

He pointed strictly towards the far distance of the north west where Dainashi would be from their point of direction while sighing.

There is more to this than just rot, but im sure you'll find out about it eventually. I can't see any marches on the far east of Tobusekai, it would seem like our advesaries are mounting their grip on my place of origin - probably just to piss me off. Regardless, enough talking - let's go.

Alucard then crossed his arms as he let his control over gravity create a platform underneath all three made out of sand, stone and other debris that was nearby. This platform would levitate above the ground and take them north.

The Frost Monarch spawns here.

Storyboard Mission Element(s):

  • Investigate the rumors of a hero in Icaria

In the heart of Moon Isle, Sillad was spending his afternoon playing cards, poker to be precise. It was his game of choice, and he excelled at it. This was how he'd usually spend his days - drinking and gambling. Not much to be proud of, but not much to do in this world nowadays - the Cataclysm had changed the world, perhaps for good.

The tavern was dimly lit, smoke filling air from the cigarettes of fellow gamblers. Sillad was drinking his usual - a rich single-maltz scotch - a rare commodity, but was still in stock in this particular establishment. He was surrounded by hushed murmurs and the sound of shuffling cards all around. He focused intensely on the game and the players at the table, trying to learn their patterns and playstyle.

As he was dealt yet another terrible hand, he overheard whispers from a group of players in the corner, speaking of a hero rising in the North. A figure rumored to be uniting people against the lingering chaos that hung like a shadow over the land. The prospect intrigued him as much as any other man, though he couldn’t help but scoff internally. Heroes often become legends, and their real actions get hidden behind stories of bravery.

“I heard he’s got a plan,” one man said. “A strategy to restore balance. Can you imagine? Peace in these times?”

"I heard he is a she! And that she took out an army of Tiamat spawns, a hundred strong, all by herself."
said another man playing pool behind the poker tables.

Sillad raised an eyebrow, the corner of his mouth twitched in amusement. Peace was only an illusion in his eyes. One that gave people hope for a time, before taking it away. Sillad didn't need hope. He could handle the chaos. Yet, the hope displayed in his fellow gamblers’ eyes was infectious, igniting a flicker of curiosity in him.

As the game continued, Sillad found himself distracted by thoughts of this so-called hero. Who was he, or she? What made them different from all the rest who offered empty promises? The idea of confronting the hero intrigued him, not out of a desire for change, but rather to gauge the sincerity behind the claims.

His mind was not in the game, it was somewhere else, so much so that he failed to catch one of his weaker opponents bluffing, making him lose a substantial pot. He scoffed and picked the remainder of his chips and went to cash out. He approached the cashier, a fat, bald man, always rocking back and forth in his chair. Leaning in, Sillad asked, So, where has this mystery bastion been set up?"

The cashier almost laughed for the first time since Sillad knew him, shaking his head. “You’ve been too wrapped up in the cards, mate. It’s the next island over: O’uzu Island, Icaria.”

Sillad nodded as he was counting the money. He left a small tip and stepped outside into the fading light, feeling the warm breeze on his face. "I think it's time to see what all the fuss is about." he thought to himself, as he took flight, hovering in the air above.
