two choices:
1 - asta’s devil is a low ranked errand devil who hates al the other devils.
2 - Asta’s devil is a high ranked devil who is banned from the dark world because all of the other devils hated him.

Asta going berserk was the highlight of the manga’s this week.

Well considering the demon addressed Zagred, who was a high-ranked demon, as "senpai", indicates he is 'newer' (even if that was meant to mock him). None of the demons so far was able to recognize him either, so I think he's outside category.
