Sharingan was never said to increase speed. That's basically what Lee vs Sasuke in p1 addressed.

She didn't say that, not only that it was in reference to Mitsuki. Each was mentioning the others strengths which they lack.
Boruto said he doesn't have the eys to read an opponents attacks referring toSarada.
Sarada said she doesn't have the speed to toy with an opponent referring to Mitsuki.
Mitsuki saI'd he doesn't have the creativity to use wind style referring to Boruto.
Not true it slows things down so the person can react faster. Lee vs Sasuke part 1 was Sasuke caught off guard and underestimating Lee. Haku vs Sasuke's a better example once he awakened the sharingan he was able to react to attacks faster which he could react to prior to the Sharingan.

Yea thats why it bothered to emohasize both boruto and mitsuki attacking together when she said that. Fanboys are amazing lol it’s really not that big of a deal, even the one “speed” based data book stat puts boruto above Sarada. She can react faster, but she’s shown nothing that would put her actual speed above boruto.
Sarada fans out here wanting them a Mary Sue
Btw guys this isn’t a knock on Sarada, but boruto stream is as much a part of borutos speed as ay’s lightning armor is a part of ays speed

That’s why boruto and mitsuki went, they speed better handled the situation while she could focus on analyzing with her sharingan. Sarada has the edge in power and intelligence, boruto has the edge in speed. The difference without stream is negligible atm but you can’t say he’s not shown to be quicker in fights. Look at Buntan vs Sarada and boruto /mitsuki vs shizuma. Sarada is so far a slower paced more methodical fighter.

Sarada was canonically shown to have better reflexes than him.
That doesn't really mean anything. Two different fights, two different situations.
Just because Sarada stops and analyzes the fight, doesn't mean she's slower than Boruto. As you can clearly see, when she wasn't trying to create an strategy to win the fight, she was actually really fast with perfect reaction speed:

Boruto is only faster when he uses Boruto Stream, but that can be countered with Lightning Armor speed enhancement and Sharingan precog.

Each one was referencing what the other was lacking to emphasise they were working as a team to overcome their weaknesses.
Sorry mate I'd rather not have a Mary Sue I wasn't disappointrd Sarada lost to Shinki. I was only cheesed off by the piss poor mwthod they used. One of the things I like about Sarada's character is she's not invincible and allows for an entertaining fightning style reminiscent of Kakashi's.
As for Boruto stream it's different to lightbing armour in that lightning armour actually enhances Ay's physical body speed. Even if it was a speed skill Lee made it clear linear speed can easily be countered that's why he envies the Uchiha.
Boruto wasn't engaging in direct combat though he was using SCJ and each was getting one shotted. Mitsuki was using Wind scythe they were attacking so sarada could focus on analysing and finding the weakness. They didn't go to fight because they were faster than her.
I'd say Sarada edges slightly in speed because of her performance against Boruto in cqc. With all things being even one with better speed and reflexes has the edge especailly since they were fighting and countering each other. You're right he's definitely faster with the Boruto stream and Sarada is definitely a thoughtful methodical fighter.
