Question about Danzo putting a seal on Sai's tongue.

As you know Danzo ordered Sai to keep an eye on Naruto for reasons, along with placing a cursed seal on his tongue if he spills information about the Root's activities. Since, Danzo was defeated can the seal still work on Sai? Or was it removed(I am not sure if it was removed)?.

They disappeared after danzos death, I think kakashi mentions something about it to sai, I know it's mentioned at some point after danzo dies
