Hinata is our main characters love interest (at least that is what things are moving towards), so of course she is more lovable! Sakura is too wrapped up in her self to be loved, always worrying, always feeling she is not enough, carrying burdens herself.

I think naruto couldn't beat any of them in their prime. Because they know so much more about Naruto than Naruto knows about them. They have had more experience. Even with the kyuubi, strategy becomes vital.
