Itachi DOES solo Goku with genjutsu (Soups up!) the reason is this, chakra and kai are the same thing (google it) therefore goku looses. Goku likes to talk alot before fighting which means he is open to genjutsu, simple. tsukuyomi. done. Didn't look at his eyes? finger genjustu. done.
