Dude, Kurama was holding Naruto back from perfecting Sage Mode. That's why he couldn't use Ma and Pa to sit on his shoulders like Jiraiya did. He did it completely without Kurama's help.

I would really be disappointed if Kishimoto brought Jiraiya back. He made way too big of a deal of his death to cheapen it by just resurrecting him. Would be a really terrible decision for the story.
