There needs to be an argument for Hidan being the best akatsuki member. Being able to scratch you then retreat and kill you in seconds is a power unrivaled. He was just killed in the best circumstance possible

Hidan is an excellent CQC fighter being able to actually go par to par with kakashi. I'm sure hidan has the capacity to get someones blood, retreat, form his circle and kill the person from a distance. Or if he wants to be smarter obtain the blood through external/alternate means.

Accoring to jirayia own words he claim he would be able to kill itachi and kisame which I find very surprising. Or was it all simply bluff or was it combined with the fact that itachi exhausted his eyes that day?
