I was never a fan of Kishi's female character development, I dunno where this huge Hinata thing is coming from,im actually surprised *now crosses fingers for all other kunoichis*
But in the end its his story,so it is his "fault" naturally xD

I look at it this way. Neji died for Hinata and Naruto, so why would it be Sakura by his side? She belongs next to Naruto when they face Sasuke. She may have liked and respected Neji, but they weren't close. Same with Team 10. Their parents died, so they had every right to be in the spotlight in chapter 616. Lee's bond with Neji is why he shone in this chapter and attacked Madara.

Seriously,my luv for sakura is slowly dwindling.In the begining of shipuuden,she was awesome,being tsunade's aprentice and all,helping naruto and the sand village......
But kishi trolled her to the maximum after sasuke retrieval in shipuuden.kishi dint take time to develop her character,because he was focused on naruto and sasuke...expecially sasuke.
Naruto and sasuke slowly developed,but sakura didnt.
After pain arc,i thought he forgot about sakura,but he didnt....she took a bold step ino couldnt.
Again sasuke and naruto developed,but no character development was directed towards sakura.....
Since naruto is a main hero,i was expecting sakura,the main heroine to slap some sense into naruto,,,but who did it....hInata,seriosly?!!!!
Again naruto was in is strongest form,and kishi made his shoulder dislocate?that sound like plot to me,because kurama's chakra heal almost anything....and still it was hinata that helped him with his shoulder.
Kishi might not be a fan of romance,but he clearly wants to tell us who he ends up with,you wouldnt want naruto's future partner be a weak fodder,right?
He has planned great things for sakura,and when he's through repping hinata,sakura will shine!

That's the root of the whole problem with Sakura. It's now apparent that Kishimoto might be regretting or even admitting his mistake with Sakura's character. If this is Sakura's only purpose, then it is very offending to females. I've already started hearing it on youtube a few minutes ago. Sakura does not represent the females in naruto, but she is the MAIN female, she's suppose to be at the center stage, being badass and self-independent. She's suppose to be a strong female character. My problem is that She has no unique abilities, that are only unique to her. Sakura is not a terrible person, she is just a bad designed character.

Kishimoto made her a "normal girl" and now it looks like that came back to bite him in the butt. She is now just "meh". The average joe, the average female. Nothing unique about her. It's now apparent that sakura's purpose was to balance out naruto & sasuke's tragedies and because of that, she has nothing special to offer.

She relies on the standard shonen female archetype to get by. Kishi has admitted his mistake, by making sakura a medical ninja, because now she has to stay on the sidelines while fodders and secondary female characters like Ten Ten steal the spotlight. It's becoming clearer that Kishi is using the medical ninja rules to explain why sakura isn't fighting, which works to his advantage and it can cover up his mistake. it seems to me like kishi has plans for the whole konoha 11 except sakura because she has rules to stay on the sideline.

No, the problem is that the only time she ever played the role Kishimoto intended for her (heroine) was in the Sasori arc in the entirety of part 2. The fact is that Kishimoto very likely never had an overarching plan with her character like he did with Naruto and Sasuke, an unassailable piece of evidence for this is her supposed genjutsu prowess in part 1, where did that go? Its like he was forced to write her character (I have in fact read that Sasuke and Sakura were created on the publishers advise of the story needing a female lead and a rival so this is probably true tough he never failed with Sasuke).
