my response to that question is social manipulation and extremist dogma. As far as that goes I won't say America doesn't manipulate its people but I would assume Iran sees us as an enemy and its there fault for provoking action
That last part was hilarious! "It's their fault for provoking action.". Are you serious? See this is what the TC talks about when he says America being hypocrites. Lets get this straight, Iran would not be in the position they are now had it not been for the great USA. Allow me to elaborate
During the 1950's Mohammad Mossadeq(hope I spelled that right) was elected by the Iranian people. Mainly because of his political reforms. Mohammad was widely popular amongst the people. His most famous policy was the nationalization of Iranian oil which had been primarily controlled by what is today BP. Of course Great Britain highly disapproved of this move. So MI6 with the help of the CIA staged a coup and took Mohammad from power. Who they replaced him with was a ruthless dictator known as the Shah. Of course, the U.S. and U.K. were great friends with the Shah while the Iranian people hated him.
Of course, this led to Iranians hate for the west you know since they overthrew Iran's democratically elected leader and replaced them with a ruthless dictator. Come 1979, the people of Iran decided they had had enough and staged a coup of their own. Of course the ones that took power were the Shi'a.
Anyways, America did a similar thing to Cuba. They installed a dictator(Batista I believe?) who was widely unpopular so Che Guevara and Fidel Castro overthrow the dictator and installed a government of their own. Of course our installation of a ****ING DICTATOR led to U.S. hate in Cuba.
So please, I don't want to hear any **** about Iran provoking ****. In my opinion, America is the problem, has been the problem, and will always be the problem because they keep meddling in everyone's ****. You know what country has repeatedly disregarded IAEA and UN inspections? Israel.
Edit: Not saying I'd like for Iran to get nukes. Around this time last year, 16 intelligence of the US agreed Iran wasn't trying to pursue nukes but only nuclear power. Of course things change. All I'm saying is people are blowing their program out of proportion.
