How did Danzo steal Shisui's eyes?

I think Shisui was in ANBU root. Explains how he got MS. Explains how Danzo took his eye, etc..

I mean what is weird, is that Danzo only was able to steal 1 eye. If he had used some paralyzing jutsu, putting pain on him, could possibly revoke it. Say by taking one of his eyes. Then he gave the other to Itachi, and committed suicide, so Danzo would never know, about his other eye.

Or maybe he recovered his body seeing as how both Itachi and Shisui were Anbu and probably Root as well. He kept close tabs on the Uchihas because he didn't trust any of them so when Shisui committed suicide it was the perfect opportunity to gain one of the most powerful Sharingans around.

I can't believe know one on this thread got the right answer. It was all thanks to Danzo's Juinjutsu that he managed to take Shisui's eye.

"This jutsu can be applied during combat and can secretly be placed on the opponents body. When the user activates it, the curse seal's marks spread around the opponent's body, paralysing them. However, one can break free from the seal with a strong enough release of chakra."

This jutsu was later used on Sasuke Uchiha as we saw during his fight against Danzo. Nevertheless, Sasuke was able to break free from the seal since he had the Susano which probably implies that he had more chakra than Shisui.
