Everyone has different categories of useful.We have 3 medical ninja's and all you really need is the best which is Tsunade.
The best fighter is Hinata and the best interrogator is Ino.Hinata can also track her opponents.

I see no point in having other medics when we have the best medic in the world in our village or team ect.

Tbh, almost nobody is useless in this manga but Tenten is just utter crap in so many ways (fighting wise btw).
She only throws weapons and she is not even best at it (Itachi is better).
She seems to be an emotional support for Lee. More in anime, anime fillers, spin-offs, than Manga though.

Tenten can only throw sh.it and that is it.
