A third sage mode - slug mode - is it possible?

Too late for that. If anyone had it, it's Tsunade, and she never displayed it against Madara, the most important fight of her life. I don't see how anyone else can learn it

third sage mode itself is possible but not slug sage mode

The slugs major feature is to be dissected and still live tsunade all did this through her ultimate technique.

There is nothing left a slug safe mode could do that has not been seen through her or her actual summoning which is a slug.

It stands to reason that if Tsunade is a Sannin on par with Jaraiya and Orochimaru then she should have a Sage mode as well.

Orochimaru never had a Sage Mode. And it was stated by Tsunade herself that the only ninja of the Leaf who decided to master Senjutu (Sage Mode) was Jiraiya. So we already saw Tsunade's last power up and it was Byuakugou no jutsu which in my opinion is at the same level of a SM but in her grounds. Tsunade decided to master medical ninjutsu at a level never seen before and never to be seen again, Jiraiya decided to master Senjutsu at a level never seen before adn Orochimaru decided to master Kinjutsu at a level never seen before.

Not sure.
How would it look? What do YOU think?

Would come in handy if tsunade can reattach herself like Katsuyu can, but it seems she is dependant on Katsuyu right now.
Maybe Sakura will learn it?

Kishi his art often becomes true.
He had art like this about naruto on toads as a kid before toads were even introduced.
Sasuke on a hawk, way before he summoned one.
Naruto his Kurama pattern on a Tshirt, when it was still part 1 of the series I think.
Stuff like that.
