Prelude:
I've witnessed a fairly substantial amount of people saying that Hashirama did not fight against Madara's Perfect Susano'o; this notion is false and in this thread I shall disprove it, forgive me if the majority of NB have not been saying this; I simply felt obligated to disprove it. In any case, let's begin. Note that auto-play is on.
Premise:
First of all, appreciate this:
Madara in his battle with the Gokage states that: "If I'm the only one here, the extent to which the maps will need to be redrawn won't be too drastic..." [You must be registered for see links]
Keeping that in mind, Madara is clearly hinting that his fight with the Shodaime was so destructive that the extent to which the maps had to be re-drawn was drastic. Drastic enough to the extent their battle alone created the Valley Of The End.

In order for the battle to have been so destructive, powerful jutsu must have been utilized. The Perfect Susano'o is Madara's only destructive technique we know that he can exercise. It couldn't have been the meteor jutsu which caused this because the amount of Chakra required to use a Jutsu like that can surely only be done as an Edo. What's more, is that it would have been impossible for Madara to use this Jutsu because it would have eliminated him and Hashirama together. Moreover, Mokuton is also an impossibility because Madara needed Hashirama's cells to use that, he acquired them after his fight with Hashirama. Therefore, the only possible jutsu Madara used against Hashirama to cause this sort of destruction was the Perfect Susano'o.
Also, most of you tend to dismiss the notion that Madara used the Perfect Susano'o against Hashirama because you don't think that Hashirama would have been capable of handling it. This only reiterates and emphasizes the truth woven within Kabuto's statement [

]; that no one even wants to believe in Hashirama's strength because it is so mighty, that they dismiss him as a fairy tail like the Rikudō Sennin...but the Rikudō Sennin is real; keep that in mind. This also further strengthens my argument: Hashirama did battle and best the True Susano'o.Memories:
What must be remembered, is that Madara confirmed that he fought the Shodaime in a fight to the death, something which was completely different from what the battle he was in with the Gokage. You're telling me Madara would use Perfect Susano'o (his most powerful Jutsu) against the Gokage (something which was a game) and not use it against Hashirama (something which was serious)? That's utterly fallacious. [

] Additionally, Madara also claimed that Hashirama was the only person able to defeat him, as soon as he revealed the Perfect Susano'o; keeping in mind that Hashirama beat Madara at the VoTE, and that Madara used Perfect Susano'o, Madara is hinting that he used it against Hashirama. [

] Extending the previously mentioned, Ōnoki questioned Madara in regards to why he (Madara) didn't use his full power against him (Ōnoki); Madara commented that he doesn't fight seriously with children, again, with Madara's great admiration for Hashirama, he's strongly implying that he used the Perfect Susano'o in the VoTE. [

] Finally, the VoTE is filled with scars which seem very much like the linear slash of destruction which is produced by the Perfect Susano'o. [

] By the way, for those who use Madara's statement as an argument can end their nonsense now; for, the "it is said" part of Madara's statement (all who see Perfect Susano'o perish) means that Madara was only stating something commonly reported or rumoured - we know that statement wasn't absolute because even the Gokage saw Perfect Susano'o yet remained alive after the initial meeting. Madara's statement holds no weight and is thus void. Conclusion:
1.) Madara exercised the True Susano'o against Hashirama in their final battle.
2.) Hashirama bested the True Susano'o (which further leads us to question his other-worldly abilities and what they entail).
Note: I hope you all enjoyed reading. Also, Noddy provided some points within this thread, and I thank him for that.
