here is the sol.-
1. go 2 the date and time setting.

2. Adjust date and time ,not manually but by sync. it with internet time of ur gmt...look carefully u will find the option there.

3. once done just restart ur pc and see if the date prob. is solved as this is the main cause of ur latter problem.

4. Try running the sites after that...if problem persist then wait for some hr. and try again otherwise format ur windows drive..

i'm 100% sure that his OS is not corrupted

this is what i understand from his OP ....he didn't provide much info to begin with so i speculated some of this

-his time and date is changed due some power outage
-he cant open webpages like facebook/gmail etc that require ssl security certificate
-the error shown in the browser is "security certificate not right" or sumthing like that

if this is the only problem he has what i said should take care of it
try this also ....i didn't think of it initially but it might work too (but if autosync with internet time server is not enabled then it will also require admin password i think but not sure)
