For the last few months my cpu has been giving me the most annoying of problems. Somehow when we had a power outage where I live the time on my computer changed. Now the time changing doesn't sound like much but for some reason my security certificate has now become invalid making it impossible to get on sites like Facebook, Twitter and even parts of my University's Blackboard. I would change it but I don't have administrative authorization on my cpu (the ******* who gave it to me left himself administrator and I've lost contact with him); what can I do to fix this problem?

there is a simple solution for this

try to change the time from BIOS settings

going to BIOS settings is different for different computer make and model
anyway the most common way is pressing F12 or F2 or F8 when the computer boots up
then you can change the date and time settings in there
hope it helps

So what I don't understand is if the problem is caused by the OS or the Hardware .-.
I'm no expert here but I can't find anything (that I understand) when I google your problem...
what is your Operating System?

Okay first calm down
and can you explain your problem in a more understandable way??
I've explained it the best way I know how. Whenever I try to get on certain sites like yahoo A screen pops up saying my security certificate for my cpu is invalid.
I can't even check my google email account because it simply won't come up.
I don't have administrative authority on my cpu because the person I got the cpu from left himself as the administrator and I don't have the password to override this so I'm stuck.

Download a hiren boot image if you have any access to internet and load it to a cd or usb drive and youll be able to remove the password for the admin so you would have full control over your computer
