Question about Senju Clan & Uchiha Clan

The Senju Clan & Uchiha Clan are both founders of Konohagakure

my question is: Why does these two clans live in the same village??? especially since senju and uchiha hate each other

why didnt the uchiha clan just takeover another village??

if the uchiha clan had taken over another village, they wouldnt have had to be sectioned off in a corner of konohagakure

If you're talking about the clan which Itachi killed, that generation of Uchiha were fodder. Bar Itachi and potentially, Shisui. Any other village would've slaughtered them.

The whole point of them forming a pact was because senju and Uchiha were the strongest

They were equal and fought endless times, the only way to stop fighting was to make a pact

Do you know how badly the'd look like victims? Besides, when the truce was made, it was after Hashirama became hokage, when Madara defected. His clan wouldn't follow him, they just cussed his ass out.

They stopped fighting and formed a pact, then created Konohamaru. They were rivals, yes, but it was for the best. If the Uchiha had left, it would have left a stain on their reputation. People wouldn't be taking them seriously. Even though they were powerful, one nation/clan/village after another would have gone after them. It was an all around bad idea, so they planned a coup insted.

the Uchiha did not hate the senju Madara hated and respect Harashima him and him only

his clan wanted peace with senju and ousted him

however during tobirama if the senju were still alive thats when they began to hate them

with good reasons
