The fourth shinobi-war seems to come to an end... But what will happen with the tailed beasts?
I know that many of you guys have said that either:
-Naruto will get all nine demons inside him (feels rather unlikely)
-The 1-7 tails will get sealed away into eternity (also doesn't feel very Naruto-like)
-Everything will go back as it was like before, like one-tails return to Gaara and the other ones' owners somehow get resurrected (could be likely... but wouldn't that just be boring?)
So I've a fourth option;
Somehow Kurama (nine-tails) and the other tailed beasts figure out that the only way to stop ten-tails is to somehow sacrifice themselves and destroy him from within.
Now, before people start ranting about how illogical it'd be (since I can agree that some explanations miss), think of the happenings in the manga.
It all started out that Naruto wanted to be acknowledged and liked by all the villagers of hidden leaf, plus become hokage and be one of the strongest shinobi there.
-Become acknowledged by the villagers; Checked.
-One of the strongest shinobi in the village; Checked (it's hard to argue against, especially since he took down several Peins at the same time, without the help of nine-tails).
-Become hokage; Probably soon-to-be checked.
During the whole manga, one of Naruto's biggest goals was to "tame" the kyubi and be able to fully control its powers - at the same time make people accept him for carrying it... And that's all done!
Then what will happen after the war? The confrontation with Sasuke is pretty much certain... but will the guy even stand a chance against Nine-tails-Naruto? I mean... now matter how many ass-pulls and power-ups Orochimaru can give Sasuke, it doesn't seem logical that he'll rise to the power of a fully evolved jinchuuriki.
On the other hand, if Naruto somehow became free of his tailed beast, he'd only have Sage Mode to fight Sasuke with (and let's face it, that's a lot more badass that Kyubi-mode) - Nine-tails disrupting chakra would also disappear, which would mean that Naruto maybe will be able to learn even more awesome wind-ninjutsu.
But I'm not sure. I just think it'd look awesome to see Naruto defeat Sasuke with his own power, that he achieved through hard work and knowledge, rather than rely on a borrowed power (even though one could see it as nine-tails' "rent"
).
