Why didn't raikage remove his skin instead of his whole arm(because of amaterasu)?

couldn't he make an O sign with his other hand, infuse it with lightning chakra and use it to peel off his skin like a banana or a foreskin? that would be pretty fast, and he wouldn't have to actually physically touch his hand since the lightning will be the one who would do the cutting

and i caught my hand on fire when i was younger with lighter fluid it would not go out. and the fire burned my skin off so there is no skin to peel
