Well, Kenjutsu is the art of using blades in combat (most frequently swords.), whether that be by themselves or with the aid of other types of combat (Nin, Tai and chakra manipulation). Other than those obvious things I don't really know what to say ^^

You know my old name?! I didn't think anyone really knew me until I became TGOF xD And I was thinking more because my profile is Katniss, nickname: The Mockingjay.

Sorry about the delay

Not a bad answer at all. Many people have their own individual definitions as to what Kenjutsu is, but the simple, universal truth is that Kenjutsu is the art of the sword.

Moving on, besides the obvious, what do you think the differences between a One-Handed and a Two-Handed Slash are?

Despite the obvious differences (speed, velocity, power etc... I'm hoping these were the obvious ones and not the answer xD) one and two handed slashes differ in there abilities to set-up follow up attacks, one handed attacks are often smoother and freer movements which lead easily into a follow up combo of various other slashes. Whereas two handed strikes tend to be more cumbersome and the follow through is greater leaving no room for error or follow up attacks of any real variety (the two methods differ in the variety of slashes the offer the user as well). That okay?

xd Actually, when I said obvious, I meant something along the lines of "A One-Handed Slash uses One-Handed . . . "

Yes, your answer was very good. Although you didn't explicitly state it, I can tell you know the difference between the speed and power between a One-Handed and a Two-Handed slash, so we'll move on.

Since we've established the difference between a One-Handed and Two-Handed Slash, try demonstrating a One-Handed horizontal slash with this bokken *Hands you a bokken*. Make sure to state which hand you use, the direction of your slash, along with where you strike the dummy. *sets up a training dummy*

After taking the bokken from you I turn and make my way to the training dummy, I grasp the bokken firmly in my right hand and turn my body to the right to leave my left shoulder facing the dummy. From this position I swing the blade across my body from right to left whilst turning my hips for added leverage. I make sure to keep on my toes through this whole maneuver so that I can adjust my position quickly if needed. With the first swing I aim for my opponents throat/ upper chest area as the second strike in the combination (should I do one) would most likely be angled downwards due to the position of my body and arm, therefore by aiming high with the first strike I give myself a lot to aim at with the follow up strike. As well as this a slash to the throat will leave your opponent as good as dead.
