With Itachi not aiding....
Nagato was able to solo them while Itachi was setting his plans in motion

Hell Itachi was playing with Bee, yet had the upper hand and even blocked his sword assualt, well swordless.. With them done, Kabuto successfully takes his victory.

I don't know how they would have actually dealt with the Nagato/Itachi combo.
In a power struggle...With Itachi not fighting Kabuto,
He never meets Sasuke....
Kabuto steps up on the powerscale with Edo Madara, Itachi, NAgato, Naruto, and Bee on his side(not to mention no cancellation of ET),

This is more than enough to put up a fight with Tobi, and Madara

So essentially the bad guys have a major battle struggle would be a triangle of

Madara + Tobi/Juubi v.s Kabuto and Edo Army v.s Sasuke and Taka.

The alliance & Hokage essentially ends up as collateral damage.

Ehm, as I remember kabuto can't control edo madara, if kabuto has edo madara how is he with tobi. You failed dude, but what I wonder is why does madara want to be alive again, this means something he can't do as a edo stops him from something big. Make a thread about that pls.

Madara was under the control of kabuto...He only got to escape from kabuto's hold when kabuto released EDO TENSEI...If Itachi didnt have forced kabuto to release the Edo Tensei he would have been a puppet to him.... XD

Missing this read the manga over again madara knew his way around edo tenso, Im kinda sure we would get no where as kabuto let him have control. Then again its fun fussing so bring it

no dude, kabuto +edo army vs tobi and madara would be damn boring.
kabuto isn't an ideal villain.
There is more to the manga rather than pure fights, its the plot/story which makes it interesting.

Itachi to Nagato ''With our Occular powers we are invincible'' Itachi and Nagato wouldn't even have to be Edo to solo the shinobi world. And of course Itachi was toying with Bee, Itachi in that image showed that the speed of waving handseals does matter in combat, Itachi made his seals so fast that he countered Bee's attack. Besides if it wasn't for Itachi, Nagato would rape both Bee and Naruto, they didn't even know what to do when that Summon showed up and pulled everything towards it, it was Itachi who told them what to do, and the reacion of both Naruto and Bee were like: ''HU? what, i'm too stupid to understand what you're saying Itachi.'' Itachi knew what to do in 1 second. Itachi saved Bee and Naruto, as it was Itachi who found the Rinnegan's blindspot to make the shared vision useless, it was Itachi who sealed Nagato away.
