If you were made to choose between the two, what would you choose as the most plausible kind of power contained in Oro's scroll, Edo Tensei or Time-Travel, both of which would allows Sasuke to talk to whoever he wants.

Yes but i'm giving an alternative option to the "Edo Tensei" theory to avoid the morality issue of Sasuke actually wanting to use Edo Tensei.

I'm not entirely sure that Sasuke and co. will physically time travel to the past and change history, more like a spiritual/ethereal/astral projection form of time traveling wherein Sasuke would be able to see all the events in the past without having the capacity to actually change it.

I'm going to say edo tensei, because time travel never really works out in any manga/anime series, usually time travel ends up hurting series badly.
