However, the fang cared more about comrades than a mission so I think he was cool, but Minato is also a badass.

Minato could just teleport out of the way before Kamui has finished.
He might even be able to teleport outside of Kamui's dimension since he essentially reverse-summons himself with FTG, but that's just speculation at this point.
