TBH I simply don't think there is any room for her. She doesn't have ANY story behind her. She doesn't have any hooks that make her interesting as a character. Her battle style (The little that we've seen of it) Isn't spectacular in any way. Fact is that since shipuuden Kiba and Shino also has faded away as characters most likely for the same reasons.

I don't think it has anything with gore or "talent" (Such a silly word, it's only Kishi who says who's good and who's not anyways) to do. IT's simply that people are not interested enough in her character to justify any panel time, much like several other characters. Only difference is that these at least got to do some stuff in part 1 for some reason.
