These are my concerns

Super Strength: overused female archetype that 70% of females exhibit in this series
Medical Jutsu: Reinforced female stereotype. I'd like to see a useful, RELEVANT character, not a side character. Someone that exhibits cool skills beside just being able to stand on the sideline and heal the hurt people.
I just don't like the fact that she cries so much. I actually don't give a f***k about it makes her real or some s**t. I'd like to see an actual strong female that holds her own. My whole problem is that more than half of the females in naruto have the same female archetype as sakura. How do I know if I replace fodder female medical ninja #172 with sakura, would the job still get done? That's my whole problem, I cannot say no definitely. How do I know that fodder female #100 from the sand village isn't remarkable in her overused female archetype. This is where I run into problems with her design of being a regular girl. There's nothing interesting about her. Nothing that makes her unique. It just seems like her purpose was to balance out naruto & sasuke's tragedies, but even that failed. Ino has something that no other female besides her can do, and it's paying off in the fight against the juubi. Her skill set in unique to her. Konan's skill set is unique to her. Do I have to go on? Because sakura is "normal" that is a definite turn away as a character. Normal is boring. What is something unique to only her, that makes her special, not using an overused female archetype. Super strength, medical skills, and big mouthed crazy personality. *Yawn* Boring. To me Ino has become a more interesting character. Please don't flame me, this is just my opinion. Lol not trying to offend anyone.

Sakura isn't useless, it just that she hasn't been given much importance in the manga for a long time now.

She isn't the best at anything except medical jutsu. She's like Kiba they both have uses but they're not battle oriented so they will never be more than a sidekick. Like the fourth Robin Stephanie Brown. All the other Robins either have or definitely are going onto bigger and better things. She did not.

The problem about her is not her being "useless" the way you think, but being useless in a sense, that she could have been replaced by almost anyone in all scenes and it would not change the outcome of the story at all. The only part where I say Sakura was kinda nessessary was, when she confronted Sasuke.
Generally "Medics" are used in Animes to kinda keep the female main character for at least some reason in the story.

Short: She has no impact on the story and could be replaced by anyone . Her character had potential but was wasted.
