What is the advantage from Moderator

There are no real advantages, other than powers regular members don't have, and I don't consider that as an advantage.

What is the advantage from Moderator

it depends, if its a forum you love then you get Access, and you get the opportunity make a change in the forum.

and you get popular ofc if thats what you want, however it wouldnt make you a Great moderator if those were your intentions.

but even so, i have a feeling that being a moderator makes you feel kinda lonely, all these people respecting you, and pretending to care but at the end of the day, you dont feel like youre really part of the community, and that makes you feel lonely sometimes when youre in the forum, when youre a normal member everyone treats you and sees you in a normal way and they are not scared to be honest with you and thats the essence of true friendship, but when youre staff, that gets a little complicated - however it also depend on the person/staff, if he or she is open minded and easy going, and socially clever then no problem, however i didnt experience it that way in my times as a Mod, perhaps it was because it wasnt my favorite forum, but i still did my job well, and treated all equally, when i was a member i wasnt very likable, but as a mod i had to be pro, so they kinda loved me after that lol.

Your question makes little sense in the aspect that we aren't mods for the advantages the role might give us but rather for the contribute we can give back to the community.
