3, all we saw was raping from Naruto and rasengans. At least the kages saved the day and was the only cool part of this episode.

It was a disappointment.
I laughed a little for that conference thing at the start. But then...

The first disappointment : Naruto's rasengan. I mean how the hell he made rasengan in that mode? wasn't it turned into bijuudama during their training when he tried to create rasengan. On top of that, look what Naruto did in the manga to attack F

That wasn't a rasengan in the manga. And what we got to see in the anime? F was attacked by Naruto's rasengan. SHIT

Atleast they should have shown some damage marks on that zetsu's body.

The second disappointment : The super attacks Naruto showed "Rasenrangan" and "Rasenkyugan" were nice and good, but what it lacked was the ease and the chill in the atmosphere when a Naruto fan watches it. Everyone knows how cool was the Rasen Shuriken formation then the Pain fights. Each and every part of the attack was focused before hitting it on the enemy. Also the slow motion of the actions of hands, legs etc before releasing a attack used to gave goosebumps. Nothing like that felt in this episode. Another SHIT.

The third disappointment : Remember Kimimaro vs Gaara in Series 1, the land from where gaara created more sand. And look at the desert and the sand wave of Gaara's attack, totally color change of both the sand. The sand wave from the other side looked separated from the desert where the kages were standing. As if there was no connection between those two. It's not even comparable with the episode 267 where, the desert's color matched with the colour of Gaara's sand. And what the hell happened to Gaara? He seemed to be totally different from the episode 267. The colour of his hair, those eyes, a Kage personality, not even both the Gaaras matched. With every episode of Gaara in it, his eyes are getting bigger and wider. If you talk about the change in time like its evening/day/morning then why not change in colour of Gaara's sand with time.

IF YOU HAVE WATCHED THE PRESENT EPISODE 296, YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCES CLEARLY

The fourth disappointment : Gaara's father and Gaara have those dark black strip around their eyes except Gaara had it from the time of his birth whereas Gaara's father needs to make a seal to activate it. It's is a kind of Jutsu that need to be activated before using it. And on its activation those black strips around the eyes are formed. Its shown in the manga the same way. Gaara's father makes the seal and activates the jutsu, the black strips are formed and then the gold dust flushes out from the ground. But in the anime, those strips surrounded his eyes before the activation and then he made the seal.

The wildness and the coolness in the battle seemed to be lost. Don't start blabbering that " appreciate what you get and don't whine about it." Please, I think its not just me who hated the animation part of the current war episodes. I was so eager to watch those battles in animated form when I read the manga and imagined it but those animators are just ruining the fun episode by episode. But also I can't stop myself watching those episodes. That's the truth behind it.

I liked the ending song.

5/5 so happy that the filler is over.

The newscast thing was helpful but they dragged it out too long. The first half was kind of boring but it picked up at the Zetsu fight. The only complaint I have is the animation, Naruto's new techs could have looked way better.

Next weeks animation looks pretty good, but the episode is going to be boring half of it is Gaara flashbacks. I really hope the animation for the episode after that (Naruto vs Pain and Itachi) is good they better not ruin that fight.

Liked the episode, the animation was a bit better than I expected when I saw the preview for this episode. I also liked the fighting scenes even though they weren't animated that well.

Had a little laugh at the two shinobi being paranoia about each other.

I appreciate the newscast. It was a good review of the war and I don't mind they made it a bit long. The less chapters they put in a episode, the longer it takes for fillers to appeas so I'd like it if they take it slow.

A well deserved 4/5. I'm holding onto my 5/5's for some specific episodes which I hope will be animated well .

Yh that was just kishi's way to show us what naruto can do in his new mode nothing more, he does the same thing with sasuke when he comes out of the cave. I like it when kishi does that because when someone gets a new mode the first thing on my mind is what can they do in it.

The next episode is going to be like half fighting with gaara's dad, half flash back of gaara's past. So good for gaara fans all around I guess.

Really good detailed points, I understand what you mean by the epicness which was not present in naruto's new rasengan's moves. Its like he done it really quickly and the angles in the scene didn't even focus on the moves he was doing.

As for the rest I didn't even notice to much, so good observations.

What I think is the case is that for less important episodes we will get decent-good animation but in important ones we will get top notch animation. Because if you think of it its like this, in a normal arc there is a lot of normal animation then when it comes to the last fight scene it gets a special good animation. But in the war arc there is battles 24/7, good animation cost time and money so I don't think they will be able to keep up good special animation for every single episode.

I do however believe when it comes to battles like, naruto, bee vs itachi and nagato we will get good special animation and things like madara's resurrection. I was predicting the animation to go like this from before the war arc.

Why did Tobi laugh off and agreed when Naruto accused him of no wanting peace? It kinda doesn't make sense if you take current manga chapters into account.

Obito doesn't want peace, he wants to create a dream world and control everyone with genjutsu. It may be peace in the dream world but it is not real peace, the stuff that happens in the dream world is not real anyway, its in the persons mind.

Nagato wanted peace in the real world, but he wanted to achieve it with pain and fear. It is a harsh inhumane method but it will still cause somewhat peace.

Obito's goal is a slavery, if madara wanted everyone could have their dreams in the dream world but if he didn't he could make everyone his slaves.

I just re watched the episode and have some explanations for some of the scenes with the kages. For your 4th disappointment the black strips around gaara's dad's eye only came a second before he used his jutsu, re watch it. It seemed dark before but that was just his blacked out eyes.

And for your disappointment 3, gaara's sand was always darker then the sand around the kages. The difference now is, it is dawn so everything is dark right now and getting lighter as time goes on as the sun is still rising. So this is why the sand around the kages is so much darker as well as everybody else. Gaara's sand is a bit darker but is mostly the same, it should have been more darker to show the dawn effect but it wasn't. When the sun has fully risen everything should go back to its normal colours

It was a good episode though the beginning was a bit unusual, but it's a creative way to keep the viewers updated. Glad to be back to canon! The animation reminds me of the movies but I can easily ignore that and enjoy the story. It's about the plot and characters not the colors or animation style in my opinion. 5/5 all the way!

Er... maybe it's because I'm an artist, but I prefer the crisp and clear animation from the anime than the blended softness of the game (hurts my eyes). He looks amazing animated in that form either way!
