Ambushed
With noil going back though the portal, the party heads into the pass. Cloud took the lead with Pl and panda following behind him. Raion and simba, who is back to his regular size, walking in the middle. Behind her walks azure with shiro walking around and in between his feet. And bringing up the rear an keeping a close eye on azure is dino.
"You know you don't have to keep an eye on me" Azure said back at dino.
"Yes I do. You're not poofing away this time" She said making sure to follow his every movement.
"I could disappear if I wanted to" Azure said with a bit of a childish tone.
"I don't believe you can" She said with a smirk.
As the last words left the lips of dino, azure had already disappeared and reappeared behind her it happened so fast the her brain couldn't register that he had disappeared.
"oh really?" Azure whispered into her ear
The voice startled her because she still hadn't registered he had disappeared, when she was startled she let out a high pitched shriek and spun around bring her hand swinging around. Her hand landed right on azures cheek. The sound of hand against cheek was loud enough that echoed though the whole pass. By this time the others had already stopped and turned around and where staring speechless. A big red mark had appeared on his cheek.
"Oh my god im sorry" She said with a gasp and covering her mouth with her hands.
After a seconds of silence azure let out a laugh that vibrated though the whole pass.
"You sure do hit hard" He said rubbing his cheek. "If that was a punch you would of took my head off"
Dino then gave out a small nervous laugh. As the laugh subsided the party was ambused by fifty bandits. Azure cursed at himself for not paying better attention and letting the party get surrounded. Before anybody could act a booming commanding voice sounded upon all the other sounds.
"Its in everybody's best interest if you didn't move azure" The voice commanded "Id hate to have to hurt any of your friends, especially that girl you seem to be fond of."
The voice echoed and rang though azures mind, the voice sounded all to familiar like a voice from the past but what made him think twice was the threat the voice made. He couldn't let anything happen to these people, his friends. Azure didn't know what to do, what could he do. Sure he could take a few of them out and the others could handle themselves but they would soon succumb to the sheer numbers and he wouldn't be able to help them all. All seemed lost as a man taller than the rest strode though the crowd. When the man stepped forth azure immediately recognized the man, a man that didn't bode will for the party.
