Hi.I am here to further endorse a particular theory.One that i am still fully behind.
I would like it if everyone drew attention to the first page of chapter 616.

Now before i delve into the meaning it might be portraying i would like to note the key strengths of this theory.
The theory of who knows everything has lacked any sound reasoning.I have seen many post a thread saying who they think it is but fail to provide any reasons that follow the plot or could be meaningful in anyway.

My theory pinpoints the reaper death seal as the integral factor of the journey both oro and sasuke are on.

Sasuke earlier asked himself what is a clan,what is a village and finally what is a shinobi.

Now we all know that oro wants sasukes body but claimed he is not strong enough yet.
"Yet" Is the key word in that sentence.It implies oro plans to recover all his chakra (strength) and take his body.
Where is the rest of oro's chakra ?And why would oro take him on a journey simply because he said so ?
Because the trip benefits them both.Sasuke wants to know everything and oro wants his body.
Now inside the Reaper Death Seal lies 4 kages.Each one with information that is useful to sauske.

Hashirama was there from the beginning.He can tell them what really happened during the fight between himself and madara.Tobirama can relay how the tensions triggered and played out between the uchiha and shed light on the death of hashirama and what started the first world war.Hiruzen knows exactly what happened during the uchiha massacre.Minato can tell him what happened on the night of the attack.(remember obito told sasuke it was a freak accident)Through them telling sauke why they took the actions they did.He can summarize and give an answer to the question he asked himself earlier.


Now what does oro get out of this ? His chakra.And with his chakra he is at full strength.And when he is at full strength what does he plan to take ? Sasuke body.Anyway what are your thoughts ?Is the fact that sasuke looking at the kage monument another precursor to this particular theory ?

Very nicely done..Idk if it is the kages and if it is why do they have to go to konaha to get the souls back? You could be right it is a very sound theory I just think it is going to be either his parents or shisui...*****

You're wrong about one thing, this exact theory has been made before. Most people know Orochimaru cannot perform handseals as his Ninjutsu is still sealed away. A fact pointed out by me not too long ago. And there is a great theory on how they get to the Kage involving a place called Shikkotsurin(Humid Bone Forest), just type Shikkotsurin in the search bar and you'll find it.

I recently made this profile.Sorry not quite accustomed to the site fully.I wasn't aware that it has been made.I only made this thread based off the threads i saw so far.Thanks though now i can see where mine and there thread diverge and possibly improve my theory or ditch it all together.

I agree with you the person "who knows everything" cant be any of the dead people who had been mentioned simply because all of them are sensing some weird chakra so he must be alive and must be someone very old to know the whole story...Furthermore, he must be someone using similar methods as madara did to stay alive for so many years.....And since they had to go to Konoha to find him we only need to analyze who the hell could be from Konoha that is very old and was around that time....e.g., some relatives of the Six Paths Sage, an old Uchiha like Madara's brother, ect there are many possibilities "BUT DEFINITELY HE MUST BE SOMEONE ALIVE SINCE THEY CAN SENSE HIS POWERFUL CHAKRA".....No someone dead as most of you point out

Why they went for a journey just to reach the reaper death seal ?
why they don't just simply summon the death reaper himself?
oh wait they can't because they don't know the technique
And don't forget that oro refers to the one who knows everthing as a single man not a group of people (the hokages as you pointed out in your theory)
Anyway , great theory and i liked how you put the old kages back to the story in your theory

While I would have liked to say that Obito and Madara were the people they were going to see, they were moving AWAY from the nine-tails/Ten-tails confrontation. They're posture and the direction of Sasuke's step seemed to indicate they were moving in the exact opposite direction. I mean I still don't understand how they can feel the nine-tails chakra, when it was depleted and only "refilled" itself? I mean it's no like it got stronger, if anything it's weaker than it's been the entire fight, and the nature of Oorochimaru speaking implies that the nine-tails was some distance away.
