He's just like any person would feel when their friend or someone they care about dies
It's just that he had the opportunity to do something about it and he's also an uchiha who should want peace through power

I'm pretty sure he's also talking about Kakashi's betrayal there, hence "connections". And Minato, who he blamed for not being there in chapter 604.

Anyway, Madara does all this because he lost to Hashirama. Why isn't this pathetic?

When did Madara state that?

He wanted to make a world without losers, with only winners. And he's butthurt about losing to him all the time to the pointof being obsessed, Kishi constantly shows that(even when we had "Madara" as in Obito roleplaying him). Isn't it obvious?

He was trying to brainwash Obito when he said that...I don't see Madara wanting a peaceful world with no losers.

Where was it said that he was insincere? Old pathetic, defeated Madara, who leaved in the cave on life support not being sincere? Not to mention he said last chapter that Obito reminded him of himself.

He didn't do it beause of rin :/

Its like yahiko, when yahiko died, nagato didn't become pain just becuase of yahiko, yahiko's death showed him what he needed to do, and it's the exact same for obito and rin

Yes, being in that pitiful state, he would obviously say anything to convince Obito. Believe what you will, we don't even know how the battle between Madara and Hashirama went...
