[Suggestion] Aimed at the MODs

Instead of taking points away after someone breaks forum rules why not decrease their rank. Some people won't mind but most will. I think you should give a warning the first two times stating what the punishment will be and then just decrease their rank, if they continue to troll or spam after that then ban them. Seems like people would take that more seriously than losing rep points.
What do you guys think?

Anyways, you are talking about points as in rep points? We normally do not do that and only do it in cases where we feel the need to. Most of the time if you end up losing rep points you end up losing post count as well. Which in turn reduces you're ranking as it is directly associated with it.

If I may add... then taking away rep points is a good idea. The problem is that the points deducted is very little. If about 10% or 20% of the rep points are removed then people will stop breaking rules. Although the infraction has to be a big one if such a large number is to be deducted.
Smaller infractions could be left as they are now

I didn't know that was what you did though (feel like a douche now LOL!) but the trolling on this sght has gottenout of control and the spamming (like the idiot that's spamming my profile) is really annoying.

Not entirely true. You are still held accountable as the global rules still govern this site. This site meaning NB and within it's content it has the RP. So if you lose post count because of something that you have done to cause you to have reduced post count outside of the rp that is the fault of the member. NB is not two different sites with only general forums and divided by the rp. Its a site as a whole.

Tell me about it. I agreed on one statement the dude made and he started sending me every freaking link of every freaking thread he had ever made.
