Naruto's Leadership Skills

The main character of a shonen manga is usually portrayed as having leadership skills, at least in my opinion.

Like for example, both Goku and Luffy have demonstrated their leadership skills on several occasions in their respective manga. But when it comes to Naruto Uzumaki, has he really demonstrated any leadership skills?

I mean throughout the series, Naruto has always been ordered around, even by Sakura.

I mean I know Naruto is not all that smart, and that a shinobi of his age must obey their sensei or a shinobi of higher rank, I just feel as though that there could've been times where Naruto could've taken control of certain situations and stepped up as leader from time to time.

Just think about it, if Naruto lacks the qualities to become a leader, how could you picture a guy like that become Hokage?

Although I could be completely wrong about this, if there actually have been moments where Naruto has demonstrated leadership skills please let me know right now.

most main characters are funny and idiot.... but when they get serious, their leadership skills are shown... yes, naruto is with leadership skills.

He just took control of the whole war, when he came in. He told Gaara and Onoki what to do.

Also, Luffy has more leadership moments then Naruto? hmm could be debated.. but probably due to Age difference.

Well Luffy is the captain of his own crew. Also, during the war when Kakashi and Guy arrived to Naruto's aid, Naruto was the one following orders and even when the Shinobi alliance came he was still following orders.

But regardless of that, what other moments in the series has Naruto demonstrated leadership skills?

When he went against Pain.. he demonstrated leadership abilities.. When he went against Haku at the age of 13.... .

Only during times when Luffy acts like his usual idiotic self, but during serious situations the crew always follows his orders without question.

What does Ace's death have to do with Luffy's leadership skills? His crew wasn't there when Ace died in front of Luffy.

Also, besides the fight with Pain, what other moments were there for Naruto?

Also, I'm pretty sure Sasuke was in control of that fight with Haku in the beginning, it was only when Naruto went berserk that he took control of that fight.

Naruto's leadership isn't in ordering people around. Instead it is his ability to encourage and inspire those around him to do their best.
