Now for those who have watched the Anime, or read the manga, are either thinking, "Suck it up", or "why?"

Well personally I thought the series was exceptional....up until the Shinsui Arc that is. I was so into the Dark tournament and Yuseke doing his job as Spirit detective, but then they move to this Arc where normal people suddenly have territories, sacred energy, and a bunch of non-sense that wasn't explained, or cool at all.

After that they move to the three kings arc, at which point I was interested again, but whaddayaknow? THEY FREAKIN' RUSHED IT!

The show was sooooooo goooooddd but it had to be ruined by these final two arcs -______-' *sighhhhhh*

What do you guys think? Did you find those last two arcs compelling?

Those arcs were definitely far from perfect but I can't say I felt they were bad. In fact they brought awesomeness of their own.

I think the main deal with the Sensui arc was about the moral question. The idea that Yusuke was facing a guy who was not only so warped that he saw the evil of humans as opposed to demons, but was also his predecessor as Spirit Detective really made things interesting for me. Sensui's character development was excellent in my opinion and even if I wasn't THAT fond of his character, he was used very well for the plot and his multiple personality deal certainly made him the most interesting antagonist of the story. The introduction of the characters in this arc was also pretty awesome. Instead of just typical demon energy spam crony villains like we'd seen in the first two arcs, it gravitated more around the abilities of unusual humans (with much different styles than the cast before, good or bad) and I thought it was very interesting to see this aspect in comparison to how other Shounens tend to stay confined by the power systems they have.

And yeah Three Kings arc was pretty rushed, and honestly plotwise it wasn't very strong but I didn't find it that bad. The exploration of the demon world was something YYH needed for an exceptionally long time and if nothing else it established the setting pretty well. My main gripe was that, at least in the manga, very few fights were shown onscreen and THAT was the real game-breaker for me. Aside from that though it was interesting to see Yusuke on the run due to being viewed as a bad guy and to see not only the realm of the demons, but even his ancestor himself and overall I enjoyed the arc.

The last two arcs were far from perfect but I'd say they do a much better job overall than, say, Naruto, Bleach, or DB.

Not gonna disagree here, the Shinsui arc nearly made me lose interest in Yu Yu Hakusho while everything prior to it was pretty damn awesome

I liked the anime, but I didn't love it so it's ranked 4th in my anime list. When I watched Yusuke grow out that long hair in the demon world while being possessed by his ancestor, a lot of people said Dragon Ball Z comments so it was weird. I can't remember everything in the anime because I watched it like 2 years ago so I can only remember some.

I totally agree with the rushing. When I finished the series I was disappointed in how long it was: 4 seasons. I guess it was pretty short for an anime series, and I might not have been as disappointed but I watched this after I watched Dragon Ball Z so looked at the difference in how long they were, and it was pretty disapointing. Plus, Dragon Ball Z also has other parts such as DB (original) and GT. I honestly wish it had more seasons.
