The age old feud Hiruzen Saurotobi or Hashirama Senju ?
To me it seems like a no brainer.But to my shocking surprise the answer as to who is stronger is quite divided on narutobase.Now i myself find this hilarious.I mean i always take what the manga says to be true or there would be nowhere to turn regarding citing facts about the manga.Now i am in no way trying to bash any character.I want to explain why i find it very bizarre this debate is even alive.
This is the list of known techniques of Hiruzen Sarutobi.I know this will fall on dead ears but it would be great if you all refrain from using "He obviously had more justu" as your defining point for your argument.I think it can go without saying he did indeed have more justu but as to what they are we can only guess.And will never know.What i do know is what the manga tells and shows me.

Hiruzen was one of the most powerful shinobi in history, so much so that he was admired as the God of Shinobi.
In his prime and was SAID(Note:Not confirmed) to be the strongest Hokage that Konoha ever had.
Revered as the God of Shinobi.Hiruzen was also called The Professor, due to his mastery of all forms of shinobi combat, and his vast knowledge of techniques, PURPORTEDLY(Note:allegedly) knowing all the techniques within Konoha.(Note:This does not include Kekegenkai or secret techniques of the Nara and Akamichi clan etc,etc,.)
In terms of taijutsu, Hiruzen displayed a very high level of it in old age.So it goes without saying in his prime he was proficient in taijustu as well.After summoning Enma, he could break Hashirama's Wood Release branches with ease.
(Note:This after he summons Enma this is by no means a feat he alone possesses)

Descended from the younger of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths who was born with the "body" of the Sage, inheriting his father's strength of will and physical energy.who hailed from the Senju clan.Regarded as one of the two most powerful clans in the world.Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were prodigious in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu. Because of this, they were known as "the clan with a thousand skills"Hashirama is reputed as the most powerful shinobi of his era, having been called the strongest shinobi even by his enemy Madara Uchiha.
His strength was so greatly respected by the shinobi world that Madara himself claimed Hashirama was the one person whom he most admired and detested.Dan Katō also mentioned that the only person who could defeat Madara is Hashirama.Kabuto claimed that Hashirama's might was so vast, that there aren't any living shinobi in the current era that could match his level of power. It was such that many considered his prowess to be a mere fairy tale much like the existence of the Sage of the Six Paths.(Note:Kabuto specifically points out that everyone is wrong)
The most common example was his ability to not only fight on equal footing with Madara despite his power of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and control over Kurama but even gained victory in and survived the battle.
According to Madara, Hashirama was also able to use medical ninjutsu. His skill with which were such that he could heal himself without forming seals.(Note:Although it does say "Accordingly" there is no reason for madara to make up lies.What does that serve ? Is she somehow in on the debate here on narutobase ? I think not)In an instant, he could shape the entire battlefield for his own uses. Madara later stated that he was the only one who could tell the difference between Hashirama and his wood clones with his ocular powers.As the leader of the Senju clan, Hashirama held tremendous proficiency in many shinobi skills and possessed a considerable understanding of those he did not. He held advanced ability in taijutsu with prodigious speed and strength. In addition, he was well-versed in genjutsu and could perform powerful illusions such as the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.
