After the power filler, here's what we have to look forward to:

296 "Naruto Enters the Battle!" => January 17, 2013
297 "A Father's Feelings, A Mother's Love" => January 24, 2013
298 "Finally They Meet!! Naruto vs. Itachi" => January 31, 2013
299 "The Ones Who Are Acknowledged" => February 7, 2013

Have you seen the recent 'filler' episodes? the animations weren't that bad so it gives me hope. Just hope they don't screw things up like they did with the Pain invasion.

don't you think they are rushing with the story at a faster rate. just look at it. In one episode they meet, in the next everything is settled with the epic fight and later the hokage thing. If you go through the manga chapters there seems to be lots of epic things to be carried out in a well manner. Also the animators will stuff each episode with lots of unnecessary flashbacks.
Also they put Gaara and his father's decisive battle (episode 297) in only one episode. That's too cheap dammit.

fillers are made by other ppl who actually care what their work result looks like, the normal episodes are made by a bunch of lazy guys xD
