Tsunade = 2nd greatest Hokage

she is correct imo it goes

hashirama - the creator of the village along with madara and the first ever hokage and had many bijuu under his control
minato - protected the village from both tobi and the 9 tailed fox and his s/t techs makes him very useful in most situations
tsunade - amazing healing powers without her most of konoha would of been killed during the pain attack :| do not under estimate her ... however dont over estimate her by claiming she can revive from the dead -.-
tobirama - cant say much about tobirama so this is why ive put him so low .. all we know is he stalled for time for his comrades to get away by fighting 20 elite ninja this including the gin and kin brothers
hiruzen - forget prime hiruzen he doesnt exist the only difference between them was that a younger hiruzen had more stamina thats it ... he is the most hyped character apart from hashirama i would place him the worst of the kage as he couldnt even defend the village very well from orochimaru :|

so this is my list and ive stated reason's over all tsunade is 3rd and close to second imo

i like your list, but i feel its almost trivial that minato surpasses tsunade and if you notice hiruzen was only really scared of the 4th even if he was an edo so its obvious hes second strongest maybe even first

1. Sealed up 1st and 2nd for good = Oro can never use them against leaf again.

2. Sealed Oros hands, forcing him to pull back = protected the village to the needed extent

3. Sealed up himself, so Oro couldn't revive Hiru in edo tensei to fight the leaf = protection for the future

Of course you are entitled to think of that as being "not very well defended". But I think you may reconsider

yes i agree without a doubt minato is the second strongest but the thread wasnt on about strength it simply asked for greatest i put this as who is most useful and who has gd strength and how well they can defend the village.. and honestly in strength minato can woop tsunade however tsunade's healing makes her a very useful and great hokage maybe not as strong as the others but she can defend the village very well

even though this thread is most likely never gonna get seen again i cant help but reply to this :| ... im not saying hiruzen is weak because this is not true considering he was a kage... however compared to the feats the others have performed i do not think he is worthy of praise of being the 'greatest' hokage... yes hiruzen has some good hype but this is all it is ... i never meant that he couldnt defend his village but i dont find him as useful as the 1st, 4th or the 5 hokage are... i will admit that hiruzen is not my fav character but that doesnt stop me from making a clear judgement ... considering wat the 1st, 4th and 5th have and can use to protect there village nothing from hiruzen really strikes me as helpful... yes his strength itself is helpful but i believe the village could have been defended better than wat he did ... but watever everyone is entitled to an opinion... this does not make me stupid :|

honestly if we are on about hype then it would be...
1. hashirama/hiruzen
2. minato
3. tsunade
4. tobirama

tobirama really doesnt have that much hype compared to the other hokages.. this is why i didnt go completely by hype because it is stupid -.- hiruzen was rediculously hyped and people hyped him up even more on top
