Who destroyed the moon?

I remember piccolo destroying the moon when training gohan and he went ape shit. I've seen numerous people claim master roshi destroyed the moon....is it a spot where manga differed from anime or what?

Yes master Roshi did it in the Worlds Martial arts tournament and piccolo did it training Gohan, later removing his tail completely. Just an interesting fact, Master Roshi did it with a power level of 138 which just comes to show how low Naruverse would be in power levels (luckily a 25-30).
