Is his Space-Time Barrier related to the Kamui Dimension?

Also has it been explained how he obtained this jutsu? it looks like a seal......from the Uzumaki's maybe?

Nope, Minato's space-time jutsu is uniquely his own, and the second Hokage's space-time jutsu is also his own. + rep me

There are different types of space-time ninjutsu.

Special Circumstance:

It is dependent on the user, thus:
Both the Space-Time Barrier and Flying Thunder God are connected (the special kunai supports the notion).

Minato likely incorporated the Fuinjutsu he learned from Kushina into some of his techniques.

No it's related to FTG and it teleports and diverts attacks not sending them in another dimension and I think it's Minatos technique

I think its like kamui since it is also connected to another dimension (though not same dimensions)

No, Minatos FTG is based on summoning technique, more specifically on reverse summoning. Basically, Minato summons himself to one of his seals.

Can't recall Minato ever mentioning there was, he just said that his and Tobirama's ST jutsu is less versatile than Kamui. Did he study Tobirama's tech?

Well, considering Tobirama is the first one in Naruto history to use a S/T technique (atleast the first one that we know of)... most likely Minato studied him.
