Is Naruto the best anime/manga?

Is Naruto really the absolute best? If you ask me Naruto is a good and solid show. It's a fun mainstream battle shonen jump manga, that's set in a really unique world, that makes it just unlike anything i've seen before, and trust me i've seen a lot of manga/animes . I've been coming across comments like "Naruto is the most intellectually complex, and spiritually enlighten anime/manga ever." So i guess that's one of the reason i making this thread. If i would do i top 20 anime list, Naruto would probably be around 9-7th place. I guess it bothers me a little when Naruto gets so much praise, when there's so many other animes/mangas that deserve the hype. So my question to the people of Narutobase is...Why? I most sound like a condescending douche right now, but i don't dislike Naruto at all, in fact it's one of my top 10 animes of all time. As the thread says, it's an discussion, so we can discuss whatever anime/manga you guys want.

I only read naruto and one piece manga so for me naruto is the best manga. However I enjoy one piece anime more than its manga because its done so,well, whereas narutos anime misses the quality of the manga alot, its rare when the naruto anime feels better than the manga.

In terms of intellectually complex arguement for naruto, it has some good messaging and underlying themes but there are so many animes out there that deserve that title way more than naruro. I'm currently watching Psycho-pass which explores our increasing reliance and dependance on technology to make decisions for us and how pre-crime prevention is flawed. It shows how our potential future society can be a prison in itself, very scary prospect and some interesting theories.

It should have been. But the animators ruined it milking out the storyline, going dbz, bad animations, fillers.
