Why did Obito really rescue Sasuke?

I understand that he wanted Sasuke and his group to be his aides in capturing the remaining Jinchurikis but is that all there is to it? what is this mention by Obito about synchronizing the Gedo Mazo with Sasuke? could he have intended Sasuke and not Madara to be the Jinchuriki of the Juubi? the counter argument for this is that if Obito really intend to make Sasuke the host of the Ten Tails then why did he not bring Sasuke along with him during the Juubi's revival? even if Sasuke escaped from Zetsu then Obito would've been alerted by the Zetsu clones of his escape, if Sasuke was indeed truly vital to the Juubi's revival, but a counter-argument for this is that Madara was revived unexpectedly by Kabuto which could have jeopardized Obito's original plans and had abandon Sasuke on his own, thoughts?

If that is true then Obito had no intention of reviving Madara because it was Madara's original plan to become the Jinchuriki of the Juubi.

I don't think Obito had any interest and in fact was against the idea of bringing him back... we can see that from seeing how Obito was shocked and dis tasted when Madara was revived and the fact that he doesn't even have respect for him anymore

So there is more than meets the eye, the duplicitous Madara is matched by his equally duplicitous apprentice Obito, but for what reason would he betray Madara then? would not Black Zetsu protest?

The Rinnegan cannot be acquired by EMS alone, there needs to be both Uchiha and Senju DNA and even then it would take a very long time to awaken it seeing that Madara was nearing the end of his life when he awakened the Rinnegan.

I think Obito was more submissive as a child respecting his elders even as a kid even after the traumatic experience of Rin's death he still knew to respect his elders. As time passed maybe he actually started to see more of the real world and after his battle with Minato his personality changed more and he eventually he just decided he wanted his own world and by his rules which did not include Madara. In other words he took over the plan his way and threw out Madara's plan out the window so that it could better serve his own purpose. On the other hand I wouldn't be sure of why he holds animosity towards Madara... its a mystery because Madara did save him and all so its hard to tell.

Kabuto threw a hell of a wrench in Obito's plans it seems. I don't think he intended to resurrect Madara and I think he wanted to do to Sasuke what Madara did to him. The cycle of rape continues, LOL!

True, but like I said he could of been planning for the long run. I don't know where hes getting senju dna from, or maybe he wanted to try with naruto's dna but I doubt it. He did say he would make him and naruto fight. He seemed to be keen for some reason

It is my suspicion that after Madara's death and "Tobi" assuming the role of the former that when he gained control of the Mist Village, he must have found out something about the circumstances of Rin's death, that Madara could've planned her demise all along by using mist ninjas as a way to lure Obito into his service, that could also explain why Obito said to Kakashi "You Let Rin Die" when it was shown that Kakashi killed her himself. Perhaps Obito knew Madara's involvement in her death and blamed Kakashi for not being strong enough to protect Rin rather than because Kakashi truly intended to kill her.
