Hello everyone. Im new here but i read bleach manga weekly. Anyway i think the captains all went out too easily and were really quite shameful against the sternritter. For example, Byakua and all the rest of the captains lost without using any of the kido they're supposed 2 be so good at. Not 2 mention he just fought tskshima, (or however u spell that fullbringers name), therefore he should have known 2 get in close enough on his opponent to render his bankai usless. But the main example is how Zaraki and Yamamoto lost 2 that imposter. The imposter was the twin of the one Zaraki had already killed. The manga said one could copy your looks and powers and the other could copy your looks, memories, and match the feel of your reiatsu. so if Zaraki killed the one who matched your powers by "becoming stronger than himself" how could he lose to the one who just has Juah Bachs memories? And that goes quadruple for Yamamoto!! That guy should've died just by being near his bankai!!! Am i right or wrong?

the Stern Ritter are almost on par with the captains with the ability to steal bankai what did you expect ?

Tsukishima*

And that's the only 2 Captains that got smacked. And didn't the imposter die? He was just a sacrifice in order to kill Yamamoto.

Im still confused about the Zaraki one, wether the original and fake swapped inbetween the battle or not. I hope so otherwise the power scales seem of...
Remember what is told early on in the manga, Bankai makes the wielder 5-10 times more powerful. Byakuya is fighting an opponent whos strength requires bankai, but he cannot use. If he does use it, he gets it stolen. He took the blow to help out Mayuri figure out what was happening.

i guess he just was so strong that he was able to withstand being in the vicinity of Yamato's Bankai

Yamamoto died from the actual dude though. So yeah.

i know that but he had 2 pull out all 4 of his bankais' abilities. dude shouldve been burnt to a crisp. and even if the sternritter are just that strong then none of the captains shouldve survived at all

but hes still supposed to be really fast and he should've known 2 get in close enough to render his bankai useless

im not saying the captains should've won but they were beat 2 easily.

Most of the Captains need their zanpaktou and i don't really know if it's true, but i think their seals not only takes the bankai but also their souls. As i Toshirou is activating and get's his bankai stolen he keeps yelling for his zanpaktou and yet he doesn't seem to get an answer.

so by going that they don not only lose their bankai but also their zanpaktou, the power's of the captains are effectively diminished, also in their sealed state. which affects not only their swords form but also the power in their kido, thier amount of Rietsu and everything except their speed and physical strength.

Which makes them quite weak compared to the Stern Ritter.

I don't know why you're getting your panties in a bunch. Thanks to Zaraki's defeat he's going to get trained by Unohana now. Frankly, I don't care that he lost to Royd. It just makes the Quincys that much stronger and makes the upcoming war that much more interesting.

Yama made easy work of Royd. His only problem was taking his sweet ass time. He could have slayed him down early but he wanted to relish in killing, who he thought was, Juha. But that's still a far cry from saying he lost.

And that's why Kubo doesn't have his manga straight.

Tsukishima was just a 18 or something year old human and he managed to get close to Byakuya. If Tsukishima managed to do it then it's possible for Byakuya to do it too. But did he? No.

Its things like this that made me stop trying to make sense of Bleach fights ages ago

What? Tsukishima knew every attack pattern byakuya was going to use he already knew we're byakuya was going to attack allowing him to dodge..an byakuya was hit out of no where by senbOnzakura when he tried to attack the Quincy guy which most likely slowed down his movements for the rest of the fight.

Tsukishima knew Byakuya's attack pattern? No, Tsukishima didn't know where Byakuya would attack. How would he know that? Could he read Byakuya's mind? No. He only knew what Senbonzakura was and it's weakness - the safe zone. The safe zone is what I'm talking about.

Slowed down Byakuya's movements? Byakuya was still able to move after he lost an arm and a leg against Zommari:

You think his movements were slowed down after a few hits from As Nodt? Maybe they were, but that's not enough to excuse him for being overtaken completely. He could have put up a better fight

I made a thread awhile ago pointing out the lack of kido used by the Captains. I guess its just a case of Kubo being Kubo. I feel like he's always been all over the place with power levels. Ever since the beginning its been a headache trying to compare characters who haven't actually fought against each other. Ichigo was able to draw against Kenpachi in the very first arc when he only could use his shikai. At that point he was absolutely outmatched against Byakuya, and really not that much stronger than someone like Ikkaku. If we tried to compare Kenpachi to Byakuya at that point, we would have to say that Byakuya would have killed Kenpachi, which we know by now would have been ridiculous.

But I guess the whole point of the slaughter was so we could see the captains get dominated with only their shikai, have Mayuri or Urahara figure out the bankai stealing ability and counter it, and then have the captains show us all their pretty bankais in the big final battle.

Wow did you not see him cut byakuya that's how he knew everything even were byakuya would attack from he said I cut ur sword ur blade will never touch me again..he also said I seen U an ur swords techniques so many times its boring..so once he cut both byakuya an his sword frOm that moment on byakuya blades wer never going to hit tsukishima..I also believe tsukishima knew trying to run away was not going to work an that's why he came closer to byakuya not even bankai ichigo could escape them his blades caught ichigo eventually...

That's an when he fought the espada guy all he did was cut his leg one time where as when he got hit by his petals he was cut numerous times..he can't put up a fight if he's already cut that many times.

You're not paying attention to what I'm saying.

I know what Tsukishima's ability is. That's why I said he knew what Senbonzakura was and it's weakness. But that doesn't mean he knows each and every move Byakuya is going to make before he makes it. Knowing a list of Byakuya's techniques isn't the same as knowing exactly what he's going to do and when he'll do it. There's a big difference.

Are you kidding me? Do you seriously think I'm talking about after he got hit? I'm not talking about after he got hit. I'm talking about before. He is physically fine here:

Compare his condition here with when he fought Zommari where he was missing an arm and a leg. If he was able to move just as fast with one leg, then with all four of his limbs intact he shouldn't have been hit by As Nodt in the first place. That's my point you idiot. That's been my point for my last 2 posts.
