Dude, check the databooks, their academy and chunun graduation/promotion ages, Obito was 13 when he "died" and Kakashi 9 and he just turned Jounin then. Obito's attack on Konoha happened 16 years prior to Shippuden, Kakashi is 30 now. 30-16=14, thus Obito fought Minato as 18 years old.

It never was said that Kakashi become Jonin when he was nine.

Just do the math... they started and finished Academy together. Kakashi's graduation age is 5, and Chunin promotion age 6.
Obito's graduation age is 9 and Chunin promotion age is 11 cause he failed once. They go into war and Obito is 13, Kakashi becomes Jounin, thus at 9 since is 4 years younger.
Kakashi is 14 and Obito 18 attacks Konoha, there are no "inconsistencies"

In the Manga, they are only shown entering the Ninjas Academy together but, not graduating from it together, which means Kakashi only graduated before Obito.

And it's not that clear how many years passed after the first time Obito failed the Chunin Exam.

I have a suggestion! Why don't we stop this argument and wait for a new, if the will be, Fourth Databook, where their present ages will most certainly be shown. Agree?
