Question about Sharingan?

Can you use it to copy Jutsu or was this just Hatake Kakashi's ability? I know you can use it to see Jutsu and chakra better, but does it truly allow you to copy it. Maybe I'm not recalling right, but he is the only one I have seen copying jutsu and is nicknamed the copy ninja. If this is just Hatake Kakashi's ability shoudn't Obito have the same ability? If Im way behind on this subject feel free to flame I don't mind, just was looking back on some old naruto anime and thought about it....:

Yes it is all sharingan and mainly only basic ninjutsu. Taijutsu & genjutsu too.

It's not just his ability. Sasuke used the Sharingan to learn Lee's taijutsu style. Because Madara fought Hashirama so many times with his sharingan, when he finally obtained wood release, he was able to use it almost as well as hashirama. Kakashi just uses the copying aspect of it more than the others, who would prefer to rely on their own power over copying others' jutsus.

I believe Sharingan is what allowed sasuke to learn Chidori so fast also.

The only catch is that you have to have the ability to perform the jutsu you see. If you don't have good enough chakra control or the ability to use the element of the jutsu you see, you won't be able to use it. This is why the sharingan can't copy kekkei genkai techniques.

I think the amount of Jutsu it can successfully copy depends upon the users capability with it, otherwise they would have had Genin Uchiha spamming the crap out of A/SRank Ninjutsu.

The only thing Sasuke was able to copy was the motions Lee used. He had to obtain the speed and reflexes and such himself through intense physical training.

You cant copy rasangan its a technique that needs no hand seals you have to learn the proper chakra control and shape manipulation for it.
