It's the grim reaper man. Since his arm just pulls out the soul and doesn't make physical contact he is basically using intangibility like Obito. That hand could go right into the Susano if Minato could get his hand on any part around it, including yata.

The only question is if could be preformed by touching the Susano, which is an interesting thought since it is made of the users chakra.

RDS is stronger while sword of totsuka is faster, the grim reaper is invisible but is very slow compared to totsuka but if they had some distance the rds would definitely win. im not sure if the user of rds can move around when he's started the jutsu but if he can then minato can just dodge the blade or move a safe distance away and let the reaper do his thing

Of course he can move since we have seen him able to cross the distance and save Naruto when the jutsu was still active. Furthermore, the grip isn't slow, maybe not as fast as launching totsuka, but not slow at all judging by this pic

Why are we claiming the reaper death seal is stronger? We've seen the reaper postponed with willpower alone, but nothing and no one has ever held off the Totsuka's sealing absorbtion. Ontop of that you don't have to sacrifice yourself for the technique to work, AND it doubles as an offensive weapon ontop of having far superior range.

The Totsuka is superior in every concievable way.

You don't think FTG could get his hands on it? If he could scatter knives around it, it wouldn't be too difficult. Once RDS is active, assuming it could work the way I explained earlier, Itachi wouldn't be able to move. Only problem is, for all we know his Susano could go inactive the moment the reaper's hand touches him, which would deactivate RDS because Minato would no longer be touching his chakra.

If we are talking about a fight from the jump though, I's say Itachi has about a 50/50 shot at stopping Minato from putting a seal on him. That would change the way we see this completely.
