Wow those who say Sakura would win are fools, the weaknesses Hinata has which is not being able to preform ninjustu or any other feats besides tiajustu is perfect when she is going against sakura lol because Sakura is just brute strength just like Tsunade, except she is much slower and wouldnt have any counter against Hinata therefore because of Hinata 8 Tris and her ability of Bak. she is able to seal of her chakra points and see her simple direct attacks. Most fights depend on circumstance and who gets the lucky shot in.
We'll never truly find out who will win because I doubt Sakura and Hinata will ever fight, nor do I want them to.

I think the fight could go either way. As the data books are outdated, we don't have the best information to go by.
As a Hyuuga, Hinata should be able to close off tenketsu, but I guess we don't have definitive information to make this assumption on.
If Hinata could get inside Sakura's defenses, with the hypothetical ability of closing the tenketsu, Sakura would be at a disadvantage.
But as the datebooks are now, even though Hinata is my homegirl, it seems Sakura would win.

She was trying to inflict damage to him via gentle fist, the Hyuga taijutsu, however, the difference between her and Neji is that Neji can also close those chakra points.Not to mention you need to know how to strike, not only where. Neji had a profiency in that, Hinata never showed it. So yes, she can inflict internal damage to Sakura via gentle fist, however, she's never showed to be able to close chakra points, so that falls. What you say might have been possible, however, don't you think kishi would've showed it until now? She had a lot of time to do it... That's why I think Lion Fist was invented if you ask me. To cover that chakra points thing.

Neji would rape Sakura. Hinata is a totally different story though, i mean, sakura has smoke bombs, traps, sleep bombs, medic experience and she is a one hit KO. Hinata wouldnt be fast enough to hit sakura's chakra points, and even if she did hit a few, theres a billion more to go on her. Hinata doesnt know 1/3 of what Neji does that would make her able to beat Sakura. Im sure itd be close, possibly, but Sakura can just punch the ground and Hinata's off balance and in the air..and she can do this until the ground is destroyed all around Hinata..plus add smoke bombs and she doesnt have a chance....what does she do then? She becomes Sakura's plaything til death.
